Kids love summertime the heat doesn’t seem to bother them one bit, another thing they love but don’t get too often is coke or coca. This is the first time we get to spend an entire summer with my husband’s boys and we’re all very happy especially Naty. She loves spending time with her brothers, there’s never a boring or quiet moment at home with them around. While I was shopping a Walmart to get a few snacks for the kids I found these very cool personalized Coke bottles. I thought it would be a great treat for the kids to share a Coke after all the outdoor play they had at the park earlier in the day.
We’ve been to this park twice since its recent renovation and we love its bayou/nature-theme the kids had a blast, especially taking pictures with the giant alligator. Here they are acting silly as always.
They ended up exhausted after racing up and down the hill. They relaxed on a rock and enjoyed the view, while wondering what creatures live in the water.
The kids wanted ice cream and Coke so what better than to mix them up and make an all time classic, Coke Float. Something very easy to make, only two ingredients and yummy yummy!
- 1 bottle of Coca-Cola (about 8oz)
- 2-3 scoops of Vanilla Ice Cream
- Simply grab a tall glass cup, add a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream.
- Slowly pour in Coca-Cola over the ice cream.
- Insert a straw and enjoy!
The kids enjoyed their Coke Floats, and I enjoyed how simple it was to make them. Do you have someone special you’d like to share a Coke with? Well on July 6th there will be a nationwide Share a Coke Event happening at Walmart stores, where you will be able to take that special someone, friends and family to share a moment and a Coke!
